Umma was abandoned by her husband and worked as maid in three houses to look after her four children. As life became critical, Umma heard about the GSCC Church and started attending the Sunday service regularly and grew in faith. Anjali, her 12-year-old daughter, suffered constant headaches. A scan revealed a tumour, and that her condition was deteriorating. The doctor said Anjali needed long-term medication. Umma shared this in church, and they prayed for her. The next Sunday when they went for tests, “…the tumour that was there for months could no longer be found.”

The doctor was speechless. He asked Umma how this could be. She shared about her faith in Jesus and the church that had prayed. The doctor said he had never seen a miracle like this before. He was interested to know about Jesus and asked Umma if he could visit the church. The following Sunday, Umma testified before the church while Anjali stood by her side, her face beaming with joy.

Praise God for intervening when they needed Him the most. Pray for the family’s physical needs and spiritual growth.

Umma fue abandonada por su esposo y trabajó como mucama en tres casas para poder sustentar a sus cuatro hijos. Mientras su vida se complicaba, oyó de la Iglesia GSCC y comenzó a asistir regularmente los domingos, así su fe creció. Anjali, su hija de doce años, sufría de constantes dolores de cabeza. Una tomografía mostró un tumor y su condición se deterioraba. El doctor le prescribió una medicación de largo plazo. Umma lo compartió en la iglesia y oraron por ella. El domingo siguiente, cuando fueron a realizar otro examen: “…el tumor que había estado en su cabeza por meses, ya no se podía encontrar.”

El doctor quedó boquiabierto. Le preguntó a Umma cómo pudo haber sucedido. Ella le compartió su fe en Jesús y le dijo que la iglesia había orado. El doctor dijo que nunca antes había visto un milagro así. Se mostró interesado en saber más acerca de Jesús y le preguntó a Umma si él podía visitar la iglesia. El domingo siguiente, Umma dio testimonio frente a la congregación y Anjali estaba a su lado, su rostro brillaba de gozo.

Alaba a Dios por intervenir cuando más lo necesitaban. Ora por las necesidades físicas de esta familia y por su crecimiento espiritual.
